Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a framework used to plan and understand the overall operations of a business through nine key elements such as value proposition, target customers, marketing channels, cost structure and revenue streams. In the Bunjana’s project, we used BMC as a guide to build a systematic business model, from defining the uniqueness of our buns, identifying customers, planning sales strategies, to managing costs and profits. This approach helps us view the business holistically and make more structured and focused decisions.
Our main target is UNIMAS students and staff who are looking for fresh, delicious, and affordable bread.
We also focus on customers who place regular orders for daily consumption or university programs.
The freshness of our bread, baked daily with a variety of modern and traditional flavors.
Affordable prices suitable for all segments of society.
A unique recipe that makes the bread soft and long-lasting.
Instagram
Used as the main marketing platform to showcase our products. We upload photos of our bread to attract customers, announce preorder dates so customers know when orders open, and share customer testimonials as proof of product quality and to build trust.
WhatsApp
Used as a communication and order management tool. Customers only need to send a WhatsApp message to place a preorder, making the ordering process easier and faster. Payments are made during pickup to simplify the process for both parties.
Friendly service and personalized communication (via WhatsApp and Instagram)

Our Key Partner is Assalam Bakery
Assalam Bakery plays a crucial role by supplying buns to our company, ensuring that we always have enough stock to meet the needs of our customers.
They are responsible for maintaining a consistent supply of buns that meet our quality standards, so that every product we offer is fresh, delicious, and reliable.
The costs of raw materials, which include essential ingredients such as premium flour, butter, chocolate, chicken floss and icing, form a significant portion of our overall expenses to ensure the quality and taste of our bread.
Wages for student workers, who assist in the preparation and sale of our products, along with delivery costs within the campus, are also important considerations to maintain smooth operations and timely service.
Expenses for packaging materials and social media promotions are incurred to ensure that our products are presented attractively and effectively reach our target customers, helping to boost sales and brand visibility.
